OREANDA-NEWS  The Turkish Coast Guard did not find mines at the Russian cargo ship Azov-Forward in the Black Sea port of Zoguldak. This was reported to TASS by representatives of the port management.

"The water area was checked, the divers dived twice. No mines were found," the agency's interlocutor commented on the news of the Turkish publication Deniz Haber about the discovery of mine—like objects near the bulk carrier, after which its crew was urgently evacuated.

In November 2022, a fishing boat was blown up off the coast of Turkey in the Black Sea on a drifting mine. The explosion damaged the bow of the boat, which caused the ship to sink. It was towed to the port of Igneada and tied with a rope so that it would not sink to the bottom. No one was injured during the incident.
