OREANDA-NEWS  Rosatom will completely replace imported software for its projects for the construction of nuclear power facilities in 2025, said Alexey Likhachev, Director General of the nuclear state Corporation.

"Our task is to completely replace ANSYS, Siemens, and other products in 2025. There is simply no other way," Likhachev said in Sarov at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with young scientists of the Russian Federal Nuclear Center — the All—Russian Nuclear Research Center (RFNC-VNIIEF).

According to Likhachev, Rosatom is "getting closer and closer to one hundred percent import substitution in the most complex industrial software."

Imported software will be replaced with the help of a universal software package "Logos" developed in the nuclear industry, Likhachev said. Logos is widely used in other industries, this software package is in demand in energy, mechanical engineering, aircraft and rocket engineering, and in other areas.
