OREANDA-NEWS  The Ukrainian authorities are going to introduce economic passports in the country. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the upcoming initiative on his Facebook page.

According to the economic passport, all children born in Ukraine until the age of 18 will be able to receive funds from the use and extraction of Ukraine's subsoil. The funds will be accumulated in their personal deposit account with the bank. After reaching the age of majority, they can be spent on obtaining higher education in Ukraine.

Earlier in March, the financial policy of the Ukrainian authorities was considered dangerous. The media indicated that the International Monetary Fund provided Ukraine with financial assistance on the condition that Kiev would carry out reforms that in the future would reduce the country's dependence on international assistance. However, Kiev is looking for ways to circumvent the conditions of the International Monetary Fund.
