OREANDA-NEWS A Russian military strike on the right bank of the Dnieper destroyed nine boats with 20 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, in Telegram.
As the head of the region noted, the strike was carried out at the landing site of the Ukrainian landing on the right bank of the Dnieper. According to him, as a result of the attack, military personnel from the 35th and 37th Marine Brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.
Earlier, Vladimir Saldo reported that the Ukrainian military is experiencing difficulties crossing the Dnieper, as attempts to cross the river on rubber boats were nullified by powerful and accurate fire from the military Armed Forces of Russia. He stressed that now it is almost impossible to force the Dnieper.
On Monday, April 15, it became known that the Russian military had captured the village of Semenovka near Avdiivka. It is clarified that it was possible to occupy the last stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this area with the participation of aviation and artillery.
