OREANDA-NEWS  Russia, the United States, and China need to build trust to avoid conflicts in space. This was stated by Stephen Whiting, the head of the Pentagon's Space Command.

According to him, all countries need to be responsible for their actions in space and act in accordance with international obligations. They must do so safely and responsibly in orbit to fulfill commitments from agreements on space use.
If all countries adhere to the terms of the signed agreements, it will promote trust and prevent space conflicts, Whiting said.

Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Washington reported that the US and its allies are blocking the development of a document to prevent outer space from becoming a battlefield.
