CGI acquires Paragon Solutions
Through long-term relationships built by their experts, Paragon supports client organizations in delivering better business outcomes across multiple business domains, including research and development, manufacturing and their own product commercialization and enterprise support services. The Paragon transaction represents CGI's seventh metro market acquisition over the last 15 months and the fifth in the U.S. over the last 5 quarters. Paragon adds more than 300 talented professionals to CGI in the U.S., which now represents more than 12,000 of the company's 71,000 professionals.
"Paragon represents another step in furthering the CGI client-proximity model, deepening our presence in a major U.S. metropolitan region while expanding our end-to-end capabilities globally, particularly in life sciences," said George D. Schindler, CGI President and Chief Executive Officer.
"Paragon adds talented health and life sciences experts to our U.S. operations and scale with facilities in the Greater New York City/New Jersey and Philadelphia metro areas," said David L. Henderson, CGI President of U.S. operations for Commercial and State Government. "The merger with Paragon better positions CGI, locally and globally, to serve the healthcare ecosystem end-to-end for payers, providers and life sciences enterprises."
