OREANDA-NEWS. The migration of services of Danske Bank AS customers to Swedbank AS has successfully concluded on 4 June 2016. On 4 June, all the current accounts, mortgage loans, consumer credits, deposits and securities of the respective customers were automatically moved to Swedbank. Balances of the migrated accounts are visible on the Swedbank Internet Banking site and available for customers starting from today.

To ensure full and uninterrupted access to their accounts, Danske Bank customers had Swedbank payment cards prepared already before the migration and the customers were also invited to set up their access to Swedbank Internet Banking early on.

After the migration, customers can use the services of Swedbank and the terms and conditions of the services don’t have any substantial changes - interest rates on loans and deposits have not changed.

All Danske Bank customers whose contracts were migrated to Swedbank will receive personal letters about the migrated services at Swedbank.

"We are happy to welcome new clients whom we are ready to provide with an extensive infrastructure, high-quality customer service and professional consultations at the largest bank in Latvia. We believe that our business relationship will be successful and our services will offer convenience and good value for customers," says M?ris Man?inskis, Chairman of the Board of Swedbank AS.

The migration of customer service was based on an agreement between Swedbank and Danske Bank approved by all the respective supervisory institutions.

As a result of the migration, the services of some 5500 private individuals, former customers of Danske Bank, were moved to Swedbank Latvia. The size of the portfolio of loans subject to migration in Latvia is EUR 108m.
