OREANDA-NEWS. FBK obtained a perpetual licence for private data protection activities from the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC).

FBK experts may now verify information security framework in terms of unauthorised access and modification protection mechanisms in place, design secure information systems and associated infrastructure, enable and provide maintenance for data control and protection systems.

As explained by Alexander Chernenko, information security projects manager, FBK has a number of projects on information system and private data protection. The FSTEC’s licence opens up new opportunities in the area of information security protection, extends our company’s expertise and enables us to take up clients’ turnkey comprehensive information security projects.

He went on to explain, “Previously we only assessed vulnerability of the client’s information systems subject to hacker attacks and evaluated possible ill-intentioned use of private data, including data spoofing and irreversible deletion. We, ourselves, are now empowered to create secure information systems, from server infrastructure to data access control framework and data protection at the software and hardware levels.” He added that the FSTEC’s licence also enables us to participate in tenders for information security audit organised by government entities and corporations with public ownership.
