OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit Bank was traditionally included to the list of top-10 largest taxpayers in the banking sector. The bank took 9th place in the list of financial institutions that paid the largest amount of taxes to the budget and became 99th in the overall ranking for the first quarter of 2016, published by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.

The growth of taxes paid by the bank for the 1st quarter of 2016 amounted to 106% compared to the same period last year.

Earlier the bank also was named among the top-5 financial institutions that paid the largest amount of taxes to the budget in 2015, and took the 84th position in the overall ranking according to "Biznes" magazine and took 79th position in the list of companies that were Ukraines’ biggest taxpayers in 2014-2015 according to "Evropeiska pravda".
