OREANDA-NEWS. Following a decision of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) Board of Directors dated August 31, 2016, a new KASE internal document called "Rules of securities admission to "Commercial bonds" sector of official list" (Rules) was approved, with effect as of September 5, 2016.

"Commercial bonds" sector of KASE official list enables the listed companies to quickly raise short-term funding through the issue and placement of bonds on KASE with a maturity not exceeding 12 months.

The Rules shall determine:

- requirements that apply to issuers in order to admit the bonds issued by these issuers to the "Commercial bonds" sector of KASE official list and keep them in the sector;

- conditions and procedure for the inclusion of bonds to the "Commercial bonds" sector of KASE official list, as well as for the removal of such bonds from the said list;

- procedure for resolving other issues relating to the inclusion of bonds to the "Commercial bonds" sector of KASE official list and keeping them in the sector.
