OREANDA-NEWS. Chinese technology company Huawei has increased investment in Russia amid sanctions imposed by the USA. This was reported by the newspaper South China Morning Post, citing the founder and CEO of the company, Ren Zhengfei.

“After the United States included us in the Entity List, we transferred our investment in the United States to Russia, increased Russian investment, expanded the Russian scientist team, and increased the salary of Russian scientists,” the entrepreneur said while visiting Shanghai University.

According to Ren Zhengfei, some American political forces “want Huawei dead,” but the company’s representatives will not dislike the people of the USA. “No matter what, we will never hate the United States. It is only the impulse of some politicians, and does not represent American companies, American schools, and American society,” Huawei CEO explained.
