OREANDA-NEWS   Inflation in Russia in annual terms slowed to 11.36 percent on February 20. This is reported in the review of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation "On the current price situation".

It is noted that last week inflation was 11.61 percent. According to the ministry, this was facilitated by a decrease in the growth rate of prices for food products — up to 0.11 percent (0.35 percent a week earlier).

This happened due to a slowdown in the appreciation of fruit and vegetable products and the resumption of a decline in prices for other products.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin estimated the inflation rate in Russia and indicated that it would approach the target level of 4 percent. He said this during his address to the Federal Assembly.
