OREANDA-NEWS   Russia will provide Serbia with an export credit of € 172.5 million, an agreement may be concluded soon, said Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko.

“In accordance with the agreements reached during Putin’s visit to Belgrade on January 17, a new intergovernmental agreement is being prepared on granting Belgrade a new export credit,” he said in an interview with RIA Novosti, published on Monday, July 1.

According to the ambassador, part of this amount will be directed to the development of the country's infrastructure, as well as the construction of a modern dispatch center.

The contract for the construction and reconstruction of the Serbian railway network is implemented by the Russian Railways holding. The amount of the transaction is $ 941 million, of which $ 800 million is an export Russian state credit.
