OREANDA-NEWS  In 2024, Russian regions will receive billions of rubles for the development of the tourism sector. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Interfax reports.

"In addition to developing a new number of rooms, the regions need to ensure the readiness of existing hotels and infrastructure," the minister said. — 6.4 billion are available to the regions this year as part of a Single subsidy."

According to the head of the department, the allocated funds will be used, among other things, to prepare for the summer season: beaches, as well as "the development of routes, city centers and points of attraction."

In March, it became known that in 2024, North Ossetia will allocate hundreds of millions of rubles for the development of the tourism sector. In total, the Russian region will receive over 300 million.
