The government has established the procedure for obtaining pensions for Russians abroad

OREANDA-NEWS Russians living abroad will be able to receive pensions in rubles to open bank accounts, it follows from the government decree.
According to the document, in connection with the introduction of sanctions, Russian citizens will receive pensions and other payments in national currency to bank accounts opened in the country and abroad. It is noted that Russians living abroad or their representatives will have to submit an application with account details.
If restrictions are lifted, payments with allowances for the past time will resume from the first day.
The resolution will enter into force from the date of publication and applies to legal relations that arose on January 1, 2023.
