Due to a leak in the roof, the Russian's apartment was flooded. The victim decided to sue the Criminal Code and won it — the total amount of compensation amounted to more than 200 thousand rubles. "The court decided to recover from the management company 189 thousand 232 rubles for damage, 10 thousand rubles for moral damage, as well as to compensate the plaintiff for the costs of legal services and damage assessment," the Berezniki City Court said in a statement.
The resident of Berezniki spent the received amount on apartment repairs and home appliance repairs. In addition to compensating the Russian, the management company will have to pay a fine of 99 thousand rubles.
In December, it became known that a resident of St. Petersburg decided to sue the city for 600 million rubles for sick lungs.
