OREANDA-NEWS  Employers' offers in terms of wages on average in Russia increased by 12% from January to October this year compared to the same period in 2022, according to research from the Work service.

"Average salary offers from January to October of this year increased by 12% compared to the same period last year. Among the growth leaders were the sphere of education and culture, the civil service (20.1%), the business services industry (20%), internships for students (16.5%)," the document says.

For this study, more than 730 thousand vacancies and more than 380 thousand resumes published and updated on the service in 2023 were analyzed.

In addition, when analyzing vacancies with the specified possible income over the past three years, it turned out that the number of vacancies with salaries above 100,000 rubles per month is growing annually. Last year, the increase was 17.3% by 2021, this year - 31.8% by 2022. Their share in the total number is also growing: in 2021 it was 11%, last year - 14.9%, this year - 21.2%.

"In terms of spheres, the largest increase occurred in transport and construction - by 17 percentage points. The second and third places in terms of growth rate are jobs for students /internships (by 16.9 percentage points) and manufacturing and agriculture (by 16.3 percentage points)," the service said.

In a survey of more than 400 representatives of Russian companies from all regions of Russia, it turned out that 65% of companies have increased employee salaries this year. Another 47% of respondents spoke about the expansion of the staff at the expense of highly qualified employees.
