OREANDA-NEWS  The State Duma adopted in the third and final reading a bill that proposes to impose fines of up to 100 thousand rubles for violating the requirements for the quality of public utilities (housing and communal services) for resource-supplying organizations. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

Violation of the regulatory level or the regime for providing public utilities entails a warning or imposition of an administrative fine on officials in the amount of five thousand to 10 thousand rubles, on legal entities — from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles. For repeated offenses, the fine will increase for officials to 10-30 thousand rubles, for legal entities — up to 50-100 thousand.

Earlier, the All-Russian Union of Insurers (VSS) proposed adding a new line to the bills for housing and communal services (HCS) — on voluntary housing insurance. This will help reduce the cost of the voluntary insurance process, the FSS is confident.
