OREANDA-NEWSThe deficit of the federal budget of Russia in 2020 may be about 5.6 trillion rubles instead of the previously planned surplus of 900 billion. At the same time, the forecasted level of budget revenues is 15.2 trillion rubles, and the total amount of planned expenses is 20.8 trillion, according to Monday Russian newspaper, citing a source close to the government.

According to the publication, the last time changes to the federal budget for 2020-2022 were officially introduced in February. In accordance with the adjustments made to the document, revenues for the year 2020 should have been at the level of 20.6 trillion rubles, and expenses - 19.7 trillion. Thus, the budget surplus should have amounted to about 900 billion rubles.

A media source partially confirmed the information that the Ministry of Finance is actually oriented on the selling price of Urals oil at $ 20 per barrel. At the same time, the interlocutor called the general indicators for income, expenses, deficit, sources of financing and GDP close to the main scenarios.
