OREANDA-NEWS  China will lift the remaining restrictions on COVID-19 for tourists, including Russians. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

The official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Wang Wenbin, said that from August 30, when entering China, it will not be necessary to pre-take an antigen test for coronavirus, as well as previously canceled PCR tests.

According to the agency, since April 29, China has simplified entry for tourists by abolishing mandatory PCR testing. It was enough for travelers to take a smear for a coronavirus antigen 48 hours before departure.

Earlier, Russia refused to survey about COVID-19 for arrivals from abroad. Also, selective tests for infection began to be carried out only for tourists from countries where there is an increase in morbidity.
