SPIEF-2023 started in St. Petersburg

OREANDA-NEWS Today, on June 14, the zero day of SPIEF-2023 started at the EXPOFORUM Convention and Exhibition Center. The main theme of this year's Forum is "Sovereign development is the foundation of a just world. Let's join forces for the sake of future generations." The guest country of SPIEF-2023 is the United Arab Emirates, which is a strategic partner of the Russian Federation.
The key theme of the exhibition is St.‑Based on the main theme of SPIEF-2023, the slogan was defined: "Urban ecosystem of human development. Export of methods of working with personnel". St. Petersburg Exhibition Area‑St. Petersburg, which occupies 1700 sq. m. meters, traditionally presents the economic and investment potential of the region at the Forum.
St. Petersburg Business Program‑The Forum will begin with a discussion on the image of the Russian pharmaceutical industry, and will end with the session "Foreign Investments under sanctions. Trends and prospects", in which the participants plan to discuss measures to stimulate foreign investment, as well as ways to protect investors' investments in modern conditions.
Traditionally, business events of the SPIEF are accompanied by rich cultural and sports programs. Within the framework of the St. Petersburg Seasons Cultural Festival, a music, sports and gastronomic festival, an art fair "1703", a large festive concert on Palace Square will take place. Among the key events of the SPIEF-2023 sports games are the "We Are Together" race, the "Sails of Kronstadt" festival, the STUNT SHOW motorcycle show with the participation of the best Russian stantriders.
"For us, every year the SPIEF is not only a large-scale event in the business life of the city, but also an effective platform proven over the years to attract investment and expand trade and economic ties. At St.‑St. Petersburg traditionally has a rich program of signing agreements planned at the SPIEF site. We are betting on long-term cooperation and attracting "smart" investments in the economy - investments in the development of production, technology, infrastructure, human capital," said Vice-Governor Valery Moskalenko.
