"We open an online forum and invite developers to take part in the search for solutions to problems associated with coronavirus, including social distance and access to reliable information", the document says. Participants will have a unique opportunity to use application tools and content, as well as training materials presented on Facebook, to support their innovative activities. Winners will be able to consult with the engineers of the company to implement their ideas.

Last week, Facebook allocated $ 100 million to support small businesses in the context of the coronavirus epidemic. According to the statement, aid will be distributed among 30 thousand small enterprises in 30 countries. In addition, US technology giants such as Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft, Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube are collaborating to prevent the dissemination of knowingly false information about coronavirus.
