OREANDA-NEWS The hacker group Anonymous has declared a "cyber war" against Russia. This was announced by the world-famous team of cybercriminals on Twitter on February 25.

"The Anonymous collective is officially waging a cyber war against the Russian government," she said. Hackers claimed responsibility for the attack on the website of the Russian international network of RT TV channels and indicated that they are now participating "in operations against the Russian Federation."

The National Coordination Center for Computer Incidents (NCCC), which created the FSB, informed RBC about the threat of computer attacks on Russian information resources. Among the potential victims were objects of critical information infrastructure.

"In the current tense geopolitical situation, we expect an increase in the intensity of computer attacks on Russian information resources, including objects of critical information infrastructure. Attacks can be aimed at disrupting the functioning of important information resources and services, causing reputational damage, including for political purposes," the representatives of the NCC reported.

The center also warned about "harmful influences from the Russian information space" that create a negative image of Russia for the world community. Representatives of the NCC asked Russian companies to monitor malicious activity more carefully and inform "about anomalies in the operation of critical information infrastructure facilities."

Earlier, The Secret reported how the Ukrainian hacker group Ukrainian Cyber Alliance on its Twitter account arranged a collection of money allegedly for the Ukrainian army. The total amount of donations has already exceeded half a million dollars.
