OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2017. JSC Atomredmetzoloto (Mining Division of Rosatom State Corporation) presented the 2016 draft annual report (hereinafter, the Report) being the ninth integrated report of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. within the framework of public consultations held.

Representatives from a wide circle of stakeholders, including federal and municipal authorities, international bodies and nuclear industry companies, as well as academic and scientific organisations, had the opportunity to familiarise with the draft Report in advance. Victoria Dolina, Head of the Corporate Social Responsibility Unit, opened the meeting with the following remarks: “We are grateful to all the experts who participated in our previous meeting and provided their comments and suggestions for improving the company’s Report. Interaction development, informing about the key projects, strategies and maintaining of prompt feedback from stakeholders are one of the most important priorities for the holding company”.

Marina Liborakina, Head of the Working Group on the Report Preparation, addressed the strategic tasks faced by ARMZ and their relation to the strategic targets of Rosatom in her speech; she also provided data on the uranium production cost dynamics and the revenue on new products. The presentation also set forth the characteristics of the portfolio of existing and newly established Holding Company businesses and the 2017 tasks of ARMZ were set.

In his presentation, Alexey Drachev, Deputy Chief Operating Officer and Department Director, spoke about the efficiency program of the Holding Company: it was noted that the economic effect from the implementation of activities to improve operational efficiency amounted to RUR 1.3 billion and the principal activities performed in 2016 were set out as well. A list of activities planned for 2017 with a total effect of about RUR 1.3 billion was also presented.
