OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", as of January 1st, 2018 in Russia there are 11.2 thousand luxury cars. Given that the whole parc of cars is 42.4 million units, the share of luxury cars is less than 0.03%.

The third part of all luxury cars registered in the country falls on the Bentley brand, which corresponds to almost 3.8 thousand units. In second place there is the Mercedes-Maybach with an indicator of about 2.5 thousand cars, which is equivalent to a share of about 22%. Then Maserati (1,3 thousand units) and Rolls-Royce (1,1 thousand units) follow - each of these brands owns at least 10% of the total number of luxury cars in Russia. Among those brands that are officially represented on the Russian market, it is worth noting Ferrari (727 units), Aston Martin (422 units) and Lamborghini (268 units). In addition to them, the parc also includes such brands as Buick, MG, Lotus, Bugatti, whose figures are also less than a thousand units.

As experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, over half (55%) of all luxury cars in Russia are registered in Moscow (6.2 thousand units). St. Petersburg (1037 units) and Moscow region (1027 units) are also among the top three leaders. Among non-capital regions, the Krasnodar Territory (335 units) is the leader by the volume of the luxury segment's parc.

Then Sverdlovskaya (150 units) and Rostov (142 units) area follow. In addition, more than a hundred luxury cars are registered in the Samara region (110 units), Stavropol Territory (105 units) and Tatarstan (101 units). The indicators of the remaining regions of the Russian Federation are below this level, but among them there are the republics of the North Caucasus - such as Dagestan (99 units) and Chechnya (95 units).
