OREANDA-NEWS. September 27, 2016. Bridging the equity gender and labor inclusion gap is one of the main objectives for organizations in Mexico. For sixth year in a row, SAS Mexico has been recognized by Great Place to Work Institute for its best practices to provide men and women with equal opportunities.

“Employees are highly valuable for SAS, regardless of gender. In fact, at SAS Mexico, our staff is made up of 50% men and 50% women. We firmly believe the intellectual ability is beyond gender,” said Analaura Schurmann, Human Resources Director, SAS LA North.

Significant advances to create an equitable culture are being made throughout Mexico, working to ensure that women have the same opportunities and wages as men. That’s why GPTW Institute Mexico releases this ranking every year.

SAS Mexico has been continually included in this ranking because supporting its most important asset – employees – is at the core of both policy and culture. The company has been included in this list six times in a row, this year achieving 57th position among 100 companies ranked.

As an indicator of trust and professional development, being permanently included in this gender equity list remains an ongoing objective for SAS Mexico. It's not just because of recognition; it's about providing all employees with valuable benefits and advantages, and enhancing the intellectual value they provide – men and women alike.
