The Russian LCV market grew by 19% in April
OREANDA-NEWS . According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the volume of the market for new light commercial vehicles (LCV) in Russia was 9.7 thousand units in April of 2017, which is more by 18.8% than a year ago.
The leader of the LCV market is traditionally the Russian GAZ brand, the share of which was about 42% of the total volume. In quantitative terms, it is 4.1 thousand units - more by 5.6% than a year ago. The second place is occupied by another domestic manufacturer - UAZ, which reached 2.4 thousand cars (+ 39.3%). The Russian LADA (965 units, + 79.4%) is still closing the top-three. The top-five also includes the German Mercedes-Benz (734 units, + 18.6%) and the American Ford (502 units, + 49.9%).
It should also be noted that by the results of four months of this year, the market of new LCVs in Russia has almost reached 33 thousand cars - more by 28% than in the same period of 2016.
