OREANDA-NEWS. March 23, 2009. The American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic is pleased to inform you that U.S. Embassy extends an invitation to Kyrgyz businesspeople to attend a "Doing Business with the USA" seminar in Bishkek or in Osh, reported the press-centre of AmCham.

The seminars are designed to provide insights to Kyrgyz companies regarding how to conduct business with U.S. partners and identify future business opportunities.  The Bishkek seminar will take place at the Hyatt Regency on March 26, and the Osh seminar is scheduled for March 27 at the Osh Regional Library.

"Since my arrival to the Kyrgyz Republic last August, I have noticed an intense desire among local businesspeople to develop business ties with U.S. companies," U.S. Ambassador Tatiana Gfoeller noted, "and I hope that local businesspeople will take advantage of the Bishkek and Osh seminars to gain insights into how to build business relations with U.S. companies."  According to U.S. data, U.S. trade with the rest of the world grew by US280 billion from 2007 to 2008.  "Even with current global financial and economic difficulties," Ambassador Gfoeller added, "there are opportunities for Kyrgyz companies to expand their business and trade relations with potential U.S. partners.  These seminars will identify methods for Kyrgyz businesspeople to develop these trade relationships."

We encourage businesspeople to attend, bring questions, obtain information and use the knowledge gained at the seminars to reach out to new business partners in the United States.

The seminars are intended for Kyrgyz companies and businesspeople.
