OREANDA-NEWS. Aviva UK Life has appointed Jason Windsor as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO)* following the decision by John Lister to retire after 36 years in the business.

Jason, who is currently Aviva group’s Chief Capital & Investments Officer, will take on his new role as CFO of Aviva UK Life, Aviva’s largest business, from September 2016.

Having joined Aviva in August 2010, Jason has been responsible for the group’s strategy, mergers and acquisitions, capital, insurance investments and establishing Aviva Ventures. He played a key role in Aviva’s acquisition of Friends Life in 2015. Prior to joining Aviva, Jason was Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Morgan Stanley.

John Lister started with Aviva in 1980 as an actuarial trainee and has held numerous senior roles across the group, concluding as CFO of UK Life.

Aviva will appoint a successor to Jason in his current role in due course.
