OREANDA-NEWS. The Volkswagen Group is joining the Goethe Institute as a partner in the realization of the Kultursymposium Weimar. The event, which will be held for the first time this year, will emphasize the social and artistic dimensions of "Sharing and Exchanging".

More than 60 discussions, lectures, performances, shows and other events will be offered from June 1 through 3. Apart from contributions from major international artists, scientists and visionaries, the Weimar programme will also feature insights from various branches of the Goethe Institute worldwide based on the theme of the Symposium. Among the members of the panel discussions at the Kultursymposium will be two Volkswagen representatives: Prof. Dr. Jochem Heizmann, Member of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG with responsibility for ‘China’. and Wolfgang M?ller-Pietralla, Head of the Volkswagen Group Research Department Future Affairs.

The program of the Kultursymposium Weimar addresses guests from Germany and abroad and underscores the social significance of culture in furthering values and gaining perspectives on progress.
