OREANDA-NEWS. In relation to remarks made by Italian MP Giorgio Airaudo, including his claim that “FCA will pay taxes abroad and not in Italy”, FCA spokesperson Simone Migliarino clarified that:

“The corporate reorganization completed in October 2014 had absolutely no impact on the Company’s tax obligations in Italy which remain as they were prior to the reorganization. FCA Group operates in Italy through 70 companies carrying out industrial, commercial and financial activities that generate tens of billions of euros in revenues each year. Obviously, these companies are subject to all tax obligations and related tax payments in Italy.”
