OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ in May sold 2,000 trucks in the Russian market, including the export the sales were about 2.6 thousand cars. The deputy CEO of sales and service of KAMAZ, Sergey Afanasiev, informed the agency "Interfax", by noting that KAMAZ production occupies about 62% of the Russian truck market.

According to him, in May of 2015, KAMAZ sold about 1,700 trucks, for export it was sent 550 vehicles to Russia. Thus, the growth of sales in Russia was 17.6%, writes "Finmarket" agency.

Top-manager did not specify the company's sales forecast by the results of six months, by saying only that "all the plans that we have set for ourselves for the half-year - we will make it, even with some excess."

As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", the business plan of KAMAZ for 2016 envisages the sale of 32 thousand vehicles, among which 25 thousand units will be sold in Russia, 7000 - in the foreign markets. Recall, in 2015, the company reduced its sales in Russia by 31% (to 22.6 thousand cars.), exports - by 4% (up to 5.9 thousand vehicles).
