OREANDA-NEWS. Renault has increased service intervals for diesel SUV Renault Duster. As it was noted, due to the increased from 10 000 to 15 000 km service intervals, the maintenance of these versions is becoming more profitable by 35%.

According to Renault's press service, the diesel engine in combination with four-wheel drive and manual 6-speed gearbox provides both a record in the class of torque (240 Nm), and a record in class efficiency (5.0 l / 100 km in the urban cycle). And the Eco Mode allows you to improve further the fuel efficiency, to optimize the supply of fuel by the driver wishes, depending on the position and velocity of the accelerator pedal.

Renault Duster is not only the undisputed leader in the SUV segment, but it is also one of the most popular off-road vehicle with diesel engine. Since the beginning of 2016 the volume of sales of Renault Duster with a turbo diesel 1.5 liter dCi (109 hp) has more than doubled compared to the same period of the last year.

The introduction of the new service rules lowers significantly the cost of owning of diesel Renault Duster and it makes the operation the most affordable in the class. Thus, with the new interval of 15 000 km the savings for servicing of the diesel engine for 100 000 km is up to 35% compared with the previous interval of maintenance. It is also cheaper by 22% than the maintenance costs for versions 2.0 l (143 hp) and it is comparable with the cost of maintenance for 1.6 liter version (114 hp) with the considerably higher dynamics (torque is above 54%). With regard to fuel consumption, the engine 1.5 l dCi is more economical by 32% than the 2.0 liter gasoline engine, and by 30% - than the 1.6 liter engine.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", for the first five months of 2016 Renault Duster is still a leader in the SUV segment of the Russian market. Since the beginning of year the sales were 19 417 copies, which is more by 15.2% compared to the previous year.
