OREANDA-NEWS. Doosan Yonkang Foundation (Chairman Yong Hyun Park) invited 120 elementary, middle and high school teachers for the Overseas Economics Inspection Field Trip, leaving on June 17.

The teachers on the tour program were recommended by 16 metropolitan and provincial offices of education. They were divided into three groups for an eight-day, seven-night trip to China’s major industrial sites and facilities, including the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and the Beijing Hyundai Motor Company Plant.

“Through this overseas trip to major economic sites of China, an emerging global power, I hope that schoolteachers gain invaluable insights that can help them best nurture our future world leaders,” said Chairman Park.

So far, a total of 2,377 teachers have participated in Yonkang Foundation’s Overseas Economics Inspection Field Trip, established in 1989.
