OREANDA-NEWS. Over the first ten months of 2006, logging enterprises of the Corporation have logged 5,39 million cu meters of timber, 6,2% down year-on-year.

Total timber supply by Ilim Pulp’s subsidiaries went down 8,9% from the level of 2005 - to 5,1 million cu meters. At the same time, supply by outside companies grew 7,5% - to 5,5 million cubic meters.

The fall in logging volumes reflects the company’s plan to optimize raw wood supply based on the logging markets analysis.
