OREANDA-NEWS. Ilim Pulp has issued headline results for its subsidiaries for the first eleven months of 2006. Over the period, output volume of pulp and paper products by Corporation subsidiaries went up 2.9% to 2 million 365 thousand tonnes.

Market pulp output went up 0.8% year-on-year to 1.36 million tonnes. Board and paper production grew by 6.8% to 687.2 thousand tonnes and 6% to 264.7 thousand tonnes respectively.

Pulping totalled 2 million 269.8 thousand tonnes, 2.3% up year-on-year. Lumber production output totaled 438.5 thousand cubic meters, 10% up as compared to the first eleven months of 2005. 129,4 thousand cubic meters of plywood were produced, 2.5% up as compared to January — November 2005. Output of woodworking products went up 18.4% to 9 thousand cubic meters. Hardboard output went up 19.8% totalling 41.7 million sq meters.
