OREANDA-NEWS. Ilim Pulp has issued headline results for its subsidiaries for the first eleven months of 2006. Over the first eleven months of 2006, logging subsidiaries of the Corporation have logged 6.01 million cubic meters of timber, 12.8% down year-on-year.

Total timber supply by Ilim Pulp’s subsidiaries was 8.4% down from the level of 2005 at 5.6 million cubic meters. At the same time, supply by outside companies grew 5.8% to 6.05 million cubic meters.

The fall in logging volumes reflects the company’s plan to optimize raw wood supply based on the logging markets analysis.
