OREANDA-NEWS. OAO Gazprom Headquarters has hosted a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Dimitrios Copelouzos, Managing Director of the Russian-Greek joint venture Prometheus Gas S.A.

The meeting discussed plans and prospects of further cooperation in natural gas supply to Greece with the participation of Prometheus Gas.

In 2005 OOO Gazprom export supplied Greece with some 2.4 billion cubic meters of gas.

Prometheus Gas S.A. is a Russian-Greek joint venture with shareholdings equally split between Gazprom export and the Copelouzos Bros. Group Ltd. Prometheus Gas was established in 1991 to promote the cooperation between Russia and Greece in the gas sector. Prometheus Gas is engaged in the construction of a number of energy facilities in Greece.
