OREANDA-NEWS.  Gold mining in Russia in 2006 has slightly reduced: to 165,6 tons from 168,1 in 2005, the document placed on the web-site of the Ministry of Finance of Russia on Tuesday goes.

Mining of gold in annual calculation has decreased to 148,8 tons from 152,1 tons.

According to the last data of the Union of Gold Miners of Russia for today, gold mining in January-November 2006 has decreased by 1,6 percent, or 2,5 tons against 2005, and has made 155,1 tons, Reuter reported.
