OREANDA-NEWS. March 19, 2007. During the first two months of 2007, logging companies of IlimSibLes, Siberian group of Ilim Pulp’s subsidiaries, logged over 595,8 thousand cu metres of wood, 68,2% up as compared to the same period last year, reported the press-centre of  Ilim Pulp.

Volume of raw wood shipment to the consumers over January - February was up 216,2 thousand cu metres (68,4%) year-over-year at 532,2 thousand cu metres of wood. Andrey Rossoy, General Director of IlimSibLes says such a drastic growth was due to excellent performance by the company’s contractors. “We have fully met the demand of Ust-Ilimsk Pulp Mill and other mills’ pulp production facilities. We have also managed to create a reserve to be used during the season of bad roads,” said Andrey Rossoy.
