OREANDA-NEWS. March 21, 2007 over January - February 2007, St. Petersburg Cartonboard and Printing Mill has produced 42,1 thousand tonnes of cartonboard, including 36,5 thousand tonnes of market cartonboard, 3 thousand tonnes (9%) up as compared to the same period of 2006, reported the press-centre of  Ilim Pulp.

Output included the following amounts of market cartonboard:
• Uncoated board - 4,9 thousand tones, matching the level of the past year;
• Coated board - 8,1 thousand tones, matching the level of the past year;
• Linerboard - 22,5 thousand tones, 4,1 thousand tonnes (22%) up year-over-year;
• Match box board - 0,3 thousand tones, 1,1 thousand tonnes (78%) down year-over-year.

Testliner output amounted to 0,6 thousand tonnes, 0,1 thousand tones (20%) up as compared to the same period last year. Some changes in different types of production are due to revision made in the sales plans of Petroboard Trading and Knauf companies. Over the period, output of printed product went down 400 tonnes (12%) as compared to the same period of 2006, totalling 3,3 thousand tonnes. During the first two months of 2007, output of disposable plates amounted to 12,5 million pieces, 1,3 times up as compared to January-February 2006. The essential output increase is due to the plate-producing equipment renovation in 2006.
