OREANDA-NEWS. March 28, 2007. According to the preliminary results, in 2006 the company’s revenues totaled 28,525bln RUR, net profit - 3,16bln RUR, net assets - 30,195bln RUR. In 2006 the company paid 4,7bln RUR taxes to the budgets of all levels, reported the press-centre of  TVEL. Last year TVEL considerably strengthened its export positions. The victories in tenders for fuel supply to the Czech Republic and Finland have allowed our country to regain the market of fuel supply to NPPs with WWER reactors. The success of the project for restoring a power unit well at Paks NPP (Hungary) has confirmed the high efficiency of the Russian plant building industry. The won tenders and the signed contracts alone will give the company a total additional income of $3bln till 2030.

 
Among the industrial achievements are the launch of an ore processing factory with a capacity of 270,000 tons of ore a year; the modernization of mining equipment at Priargrun Mining and Chemical Combine; the launch of the main process building of Dalur CJSC with a capacity of 700 tons of uranium a year; the launch of a new WWER-440 fuel element filling line at Machine Building Plant; the launch of a zeolite catalysts and powders workshop at Novosibirsk Plant of Chemical Concentrates; the launch of a steam generator at Chepetsk Mechanical Plant. The directors have set the key financial-economic goals for 2007. The planned income is 38,212bln RUR, net profit - 4,583bln RUR. The meeting was chaired by the head of the presidential administration S. Sobyanin.
