OREANDA-NEWS. On March 30, 2007 Uralsvyazinform (RTS and MICEX: URSI/URSIP) - reported BoD’s decision to sell the whole 33,43%-stake in mobile operator Tatinkom-T, reported the press-centre of  Uralsvyazinform. On March 30th, 2007 USI’s Board of Directors made a decision to sell the whole 33,43% ordinary shares stake in mobile operator OAO Tatinkom-T. At the same time, Volgatelecom - the major Tatinkom-T shareholder and a regional operator inside Svyazinvest group - decided to increase its shareholding in Tatinkom-T to 100% through purchase of the whole stake from Uralsvyazinform.

Anatoly Ufimkin, CEO noted that the sale of the stake in Tatinkom-T is in line with USI’s asset restructuring plan to optimize non-core businesses and minority stakes. The minority shareholding did not allow USI to consolidate Tatinkom-T revenues in USI’s budget. Volgatelecom and Uralsvyazinform are supposed to sign a share purchase agreement shortly provided that Federal Antimonopoly Service affirms the transaction.
