OREANDA-NEWS. On April 04, 2007 PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia has secured the pre-lease for the White Square Office Center. It is considered to be one of the largest corporate leases signed in Moscow, reported the press-centre of PricewaterhouseCoopers Russia. The White Square Office Center is to be located at the end of Tverskaya Street, between Lesnaya and Butirsky Val, adjacent to Belorusskaya Metro Station (on the Circle and Zamoskvoretskaya Lines). The complex is being jointly developed by AIG/Lincoln and Coalco. PwC has signed the lease of all office space, totalling approx. 32,500 m2, in the 15-storey building. It is part of a 74,000 m2 office complex of three separate buildings that are scheduled to be ready for occupation in late 2008.

For seven years PricewaterhouseCoopers has occupied office space in the Riverside Towers Business Center on Kosmodamianskaya Naberezhnaya, which has become a “second home” for PricewaterhouseCoopers employees. However, the growth of the firm has been so rapid in recent years that the PricewaterhouseCoopers staff has become too numerous for a building of this size, and there is a clear need for expanded office space. In 2007 PwC plans to move one of its departments to a close business center.

At the moment, the staff of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Moscow numbers around 2,000 employees and it is expected to grow up to 3,000 by the end of 2008. The new office will comfortably accommodate a staff of that size. It will also provide the extra floor space necessary in light of the expected growth in staff size to almost 4,000 employees. The White Square Office Center will come to represent prestigious office facilities of the highest class that will enable the growth of PricewaterhouseCoopers for many years into the future and will play a very important role in the continuing long-term success of PwC’s business and market leadership.
