Smolensk NPP Hosts International Festival
OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2007. The first open international festival of merry and quick-witted school teams of the NPP satellite-towns "Nuclear Yeralash-2007" was held in Desnogorsk on Mar 31, reported the press-centre of Rosenergoatom.
Teams from Novovoronezh, Sarov, Desnogorsk and Visaginas (Ignalina NPP, Lithuania) took part in the festival.
The jury consisted of representatives of Rosenergoatom, SNPP, the authorities and manufacturing enterprises of Desnogorsk.
The children presented funny episodes from the life of their towns.
Many of the schoolchildren are going to become nuclear power engineers. The festival has demonstrated their big intellectual potential and talent.
The team of Desnogorsk won the first prize, Sarov — the second prize, Visaginas — the third prize. All teams performed with enthusiasm and the audience got great pleasure from their performance. The children proved that they are worthy residents of their towns.
