Inspection Competition of Operating Crew Took Place in Western Power Networks of Sverdlovenergo Public Company
OREANDA-NEWS. April 10, 2007. Last week dispatchers representing 10 regional subdivisions of Western power networks of Sverdlovenergo Public Company took part in regular competition on professional skills which was conducted in the electrical branch company of Sverdlovenergo, reported the press-centre of Sverdlovenergo Public Company.
Competition included 4 stages. The first 3 stages consisted of test on theoretical skills in job safety rules while working with electric installations, rules of safety while working with instruments, rules of technical exploitation of power stations and preventive fire-fighting regulations for power enterprises.
The fourth stage of the competition was practical appliance of basic skills. 34 participants demonstrated their skills in medical first aid to a man with electric shock and also they told to judges about all known medicaments which should be in any medicine box. Dispatchers succeeded in the fourth stage and reanimated a model-simulator "Gosha" 34 times.
It should be said that operating personnel of Western power networks shoed good theoretical knowledge and their practical appliance during this contest. Every participant managed to hit 130 and some even 140 points in average. The maximum totals value of points was equal to 160.
Top places are taken by:
1 place - Oleg Alexandrovich Solomatov (Mikhailovsk power station);
2 place - Alexander Igorovich Tsepilov (Krasnoufimsk power station);
3 place - Sergey Viktorovich Titov (Krasnoufimsk power station);
1 place in team contest was taken by the team of Krasnoufimsk power station. 2 place was won by teams from Mikhailovsk and Sysertsk power stations, 3 place - Sough power station of Western power networks of Sverdlovenergo Public Company.
