OREANDA-NEWS. On April 12, 2007 the Board of Directors of ROSNO-MS has approved the company’s charity program for the year 2007, reported the press-centre of  ROSNO.
In accordance with the approved program, in 2007 the company plans to purchase modern medical equipment for 2,649 thousand roubles. Every piece of the acquired equipment will be donated to the medical institutions of Voronezh, Ulyanovsk, St.Petersburg, Archangelsk, Smolensk, Novgorod, and Yoshkar-Ola.

Under this program, the regional children’s hospital in Novgorod has already received encephalographic complex MITSAR and two electrocardiographs, while the regional children’s hospital in Smolensk has been donated two Pentax gastroduodenoscopes. The company’s experts have decided to purchase neuroimager BMP-24, Pentax gastroduodenoscopes, Compact-C Brown perfuser, endosurgical Gimmi stand, Elyte electrolyte analyzer, slit Shinn lamps for eye biomicroscopy and other medical appliances.

"Besides our statutory functions, we consider it extremely important for us to provide additional sponsorship support to medical institutions — for example, by helping them to acquire medical diagnostic equipment", said Larisa Popovich, First Deputy General Manager — Executive Director of ROSNO-MS. "Furthermore, pursuant to the strategic plan of expansion of the insurers’ role in the OMI system, we plan to hold a series of seminars for doctors with respect to organization of obligatory medical insurance."
