OREANDA-NEWS. In early April, 2007 at the annual Cisco Partner Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada, Cisco awarded its best partners in CIS member states. IBS, a leader in the IT and consulting services market, was recognized as the Public Sector Partner of the Year in Russia and other CIS countries, reported the press-centre of  IBS. This award emphasizes the contribution made by IBS to promoting state-of-the-art telecommunication technologies across Russia's public sector. IBS has been a Cisco partner for more than 11 years and over this period has accomplished a number of major projects using Cisco technologies and equipment for public and commercial sector customers such as Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, RF Pensioners' Fund, Rosnedvizhimost (Russia's Federal Property Registry Service), Mezhregiongaz, RAO UES, Russian Standard Bank, Rosstat ("Statistics of Russia" Information Centre), MEPhI, Higher School of Economics, Central Bank of the Russian Federation and others. In 2006 IBS accomplished its largest ever project aimed to build a data transmission and IP telephony network to enable functioning of the nationwide system of real estate cadastre.

"Holding the top Partner status awarded by Cisco - Golden Certified Partner and a number of specializations, some of them quite unique, - IBS specializes in implementation of large-scale and sophisticated projects, which involve planning, designing, building, maintaining and managing networks. Public sector is one of the key targets we focus our efforts, expertise and technologies on. It's only fair that our work was recognized and awarded at such a level," comments Dmitry Butmalai, Head of Telecommunications Group, System Solutions Department, IBS.
