OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2007. Since 17 April 2007 another 43 postal branches of Russian Post joined the project on implementation of management quality system based on international standard ISO 9001:2000 concerning postal(letter correspondence, parcels, express mail) and financial(money orders, pension delivery, collection of payments) services, reported the press-centre of  Russian Post.

The project on quality system development and implementation in the branches started in 2005. It aims at raising the quality of the granted services and improving managerial processes. Conclusion of experts proving that management quality system of Russian Post meets the international standards ISO 9001:2000 as well as first 11 certificates for regional branches that were given on 5 July 2006 can be considered as the result of work within the framework of the first stage.

Since May 2006 till March 2007 post successfully implemented the second stage of the project. The results of work let the experts on certification enlarge the number of branches amounted 39 units.

Up to day the project on implementation of management quality system at the enterprise is under way. Inclusion of another 43 regional branches into the project tells of new step in the development of customer-oriented policy of the enterprise and drive to increase quality of services granted in the whole branch network.
