OREANDA-NEWS. On April 25, 2007 "Troitsk Iodine Plant" OJSC complied with the determinations issued by Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) and renewed supplies of iodine-containing products to the Rostov Pharmaceutical Factory CJSC, reported the press-centre of  FAS Russia. Earlier FAS Russia found that the Troitsk Iodine Plant breached Clause 8 Part 1 Article 10 of the Federal Law "On Competition Protection" (abusing dominant position). The case was initiated on petition of the Rostov Pharmaceutical Factory that in November 2005 the "Troitsk Iodine Plant" stopped supplying crystal iodine and potassium iodide to the Rostov Pharmaceutical Factory.

The Troitsk Iodine Plant breached the law by creating discriminatory conditions of accessing the markets of crystal iodine and potassium iodide (refusal to supply raw materials) for the Rostov Pharmaceutical Factory. Upon considering the case, the FAS Russia Commission issued appropriate determinations to the "Troitsk Iodine Plant" on 19th February 2007. In its № 441/04 letter of 16th April 2007, the Troitsk Iodine Plant informed the antimonopoly authority of complying with its determinations.
